Our Roots

Boston Backdrops was born when event planner + designer, Jessica Hennessey, needed a way to make a custom design come to life quickly and was having a hard time finding a vendor to match her style. Her husband, Kevin Hennessey, stepped in and made her vision come to life for her clients.

As a husband and wife team, Boston Backdrops is dedicated to fulfilling your vision with custom-made backdrops and specialty wall rentals for weddings and special events. // Kevin began his career as a carpenter in the 90’s and currently works as a construction superintendent with his CSL certification. Realizing how much he missed carpentry, Kevin loves the challenge of making any idea come to life. His attention to detail, design and logistics make him and Jessica a perfect team!
